Leonidas Update January 28, 2013

on .

Leonidas, LLC has arranged for a three-hour meeting with the attorneys for the West Class on February 8th, 2013, from 9:30AM to 12:30PM. The location is the Coast Phoenix Sky Harbor Hotel (formerly known as the Crowne Plaza), located on Washington and 44th St. in Phoenix. Attorneys Marty Harper and Andy Jacob will be available to discuss the expected steps moving forward and their roles in seeing us through to the final completion of our Leonidas LLC Objectives. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers so mark your calendars for February 8th at 9:30AM.

Again, please note that since our last meeting, the hotel where we have regularly held our gatherings has changed ownership. The Crowne Plaza has become the Coast Phoenix Sky Harbor Hotel. The address remains 4300 East Washington Street in Phoenix, and free shuttle service is available from the airport. The hotel now charges for parking, so be sure to have your parking ticket validated at the front desk to have the parking fee waived.

As we have been litigating for over five years West pilots have banded together to shoulder the financial burden. Many have gone above and beyond to ensure their fellow West pilots also benefit. At this point, simply ignoring the threat to our careers is inexcusable. Please click here to contribute

Finally, it is important to remember that justice comes at a price, and our fight for justice is not yet finished.

Sincerely,

Leonidas, LLC

Leonidas Update January 14, 2013

on .

On January 4th, Leonidas, LLC published a thank you list of its top contributors. The list was our way of recognizing those who have made significant sacrifices to preserve the arbitrated seniority award.

After we published our list, we received a significant number of contributions through the postal service with post mark dates prior to January 4th. In the interest of crediting those individuals who mailed in their contributions near the publishing date, we have removed the contribution list and will re-publish an updated contribution list in 90 days on April 11, 2013.

This window of opportunity also allows any individuals who desire to contribute to the Leonidas, LLC to be recognized accordingly.

Remember, justice is not free and without your support there would be no justice.

Sincerely,

Leonidas, LLC

Leonidas Update December 02, 2012

on .

On November 2nd, Leonidas LLC announced its intention to publish the names of individuals who have made significant financial contributions to the legal effort that has successfully defended the careers of all America West pilots. This list is our way of recognizing these individuals and to say “thank you” for affording us the resources to preserve our rights. The list will include only the names of those who have attained GOLD or TITANIUM status as of the date of publication. Although we will not publish the actual dollar amount of any contributor on our list, many of these individuals have contributed beyond the minimum amount to attain their respective status.

It was our goal to publish this list on December 1st, but because of many recent requests, we have decided to extend the publication date by approximately three weeks to allow our contributors additional time to reach these levels in order to be recognized. To be recognized, you must have attained at least the GOLD contribution level (minimum $1500), or preferably, the TITANIUM contribution level (minimum $3000) no later than December 23rd. On Friday, January 4, 2013 we will publish the list on our website at www.cactuspilot.com.

Leonidas Update December 31, 2012

This afternoon US Airways filed a Notice of Appeal with the 9th Circuit. This means that US Airways will appeal Judge Silver's Dec 4th order dismissing the Company's Declaratory Action for ripeness. Your Leonidas team is satisfied with this action and we are prepared to advocate for the West Class during the course of this appeal. We will update you in greater detail later about how long the appeal will take and what we can expect, but for now we encourage all West pilots to sit back, relax, and ring in the New Year.

Sincerely,

Leonidas, LLC
