Order Denying Stay Of Injunction & USAPA's Appeal

 Airways Pilots.

First off we would like to remind all former America West Pilots that this Wednesday September 2, 2009 at 3:00pm we are hosting an attorney-pilot meeting. This is the opportunity for all pilots to get an update as to the status of the Addington v. USAPA litigation, in addition to asking whatever questions you have for the attorneys. This is your time with the attorneys; you can get the straight scoop from them rather than being stuck with the endless pontifications by certain pilots on webboards who really have no idea what they're talking about.

“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are!” unknown author

In the case of Lee Seham, Mike Cleary, and most of the current USAPA leadership, they should be worried about both.

Fellow US Airways pilots,

We just received some very good news for all US Airways pilots as the 9th Circuit has fast tracked USAPA's (futile) appeal.

Appellant's unopposed motion for expedition is granted. The opening brief is due September 25, 2009; the answering brief is due October 26, 2009; and the optional reply brief is due within 14 days after service of the answering brief.

Dear US Airways Pilots,

On May 31st, Leonidas LLC stated that it would publish the names of those who had contributed financially to our legal campaign. At that time, we said that we would do so within a couple of weeks and had requested that those uncomfortable with having their names published send a message advising us if it was their preference to withhold their name from the list.

Leonidas Update August 3, 2009

Good Afternoon Fellow US Airways pilots:

We took a week off from updating and you will notice here that this update is short. The reason is simple - there is not much to talk about. Judge Wake entered into the record his comprehensive injunction against USAPA. We also filed an application for attorney's fees totaling $1.8 Million, to be paid by USAPA. Finally, USAPA has begun their futile attempt to get three appellate court justices to agree with the "legal brilliance" of Lee Seham that apparently was not understood by one of the most respected and experienced Federal District Court judges.
